On sunday august 13th there was a french car meeting at Lelystad racing circuit. Everything for cars from Citroen, Matra, Peugeot, Renault and Simca. The main attractions were:
Show event with race-cars from various classes
Exclusive and historic models
Vendors of tuning, styling and audio show (Dinx, Veban, Devil and more)
Make clubs
Karting
Noordzee FM concours d'elegance
DINX (carparts Delft/Holland) short distance race (acceleration competition)
Car handling and manouvering tests
Special route competition
The event started at 10:00 am and ended 17:00, the entrance fee was NLG 15,- and then participating in any of the above attractions will be free.
I visited the event and it was great to see SO many french cars together, there must have been hundreds (1000?). Most seen cars were 205 and R5GT. To my opinion there were much more Citroens than last year. Lots of Citroens took part in the short distance race (about 400m) and the manouvering test..
